Tic eye is a phenotype found in many breeds of pigeon. This phenotype is common on pigeons expressing dirty.

Description
A small "tic" or patch of white feathers directly behind the pigeon's eye.
Genotype
The genetic cause of tic eye is not currently known. The phenotype is frequently seen on pigeons expressing dirty, however it is not known whether or not tic eye is caused by a gene closely linked to dirty or is an effect of dirty (or one of its alleles).
