Yellow is a name used to describe a number of phenotypes. These phenotypes always include dilute, typically with recessive red or ash red.
Self yellow
Dilute combined with homozygous recessive red produces a pigeon entirely covered in yellow feathers.
Yellow barless
Ash red and barless in combination with dilute creates a barless yellow pigeon.
Yellow bar
Ash red bar in combination with dilute creates a yellow bar.
