Alleles dilute, pale, wild type.

The d locus is the position of a gene on the Z chromosome with three known alleles: dilute, pale and wild type, as well as possibly mutations that are sometimes listed at the dex locus. The mutations at this locus control a pigeon's colour dilution or intensity.
