Mutation type Colour modifier
Alleles anthracite, wild type.

The An locus is the position of a gene on a chromosome with two known alleles: anthracite and wild type.

This locus may be identical to the Drz locus (drizzle) named in the United States, and an Australian mutation sometimes called "pastel". Further research is required.
