New Young Bird

I was just given this young bird today and I had a couple guesses as to what it is, but the more reading I do, the more confused I get so I just figured I'd ask here and save a few brain cells. My best guess is it's an indigo - how far off am I?

One photo is in direct sunlight and the other two are in the shade.

Yay, I was right - I just might be learning something, after all!

My next (silly) question is if it's blue or brown base color. It *looks* brown but I've never seen a brown pigeon or an indigo pigeon in person before, and since this is a young bird I wasn't sure if it was actually blue and would be more obvious when it molts...

I'm happy either way, it's a very pretty bird.

Sometimes ash red carrying rec red and het blue could make this phenotype too .....
