Hello! I’ve been feeding my pigeons “Winners cup pigeon feed” since last March. So about 10 months. I fed 14% protein from March-September then I put them on 16% protein for the winter. I accidentally missed a hen and found to surprise eggs in December. I opted to leave them as where I live the winter don’t get very cold. They’ve hatched and are almost fully weaned now. What protein % do you recommend for different seasons? More or less for racers? More or less for breeders?
I give my pigeons grit and oyster shell daily as well.
In there water I give apple cider vinegar 2x a month garlic water 2x a month and probiotics 2x a month.
Does this all seem like a good feeding schedule? Do you have any pigeon feed brands you like in particular?
Thank you!!
Sam

Re: Feeding
In Australia I like the "JM" brand, which I buy directly from their factory in Sydney. I'll have to check my books for the protein requirements during the year, I can't remember it from the top of my head I'm sorry.
Re: Feeding
Ok! I’m in the USA so I’ll see if I can find that feed! No worries about the protein percentage!

Re: Feeding
I don't think JM exports, but a good quality brand should be easy to find over there, if you're in a club ask what they feed.
