OMG! I used to work in a parasitology lab years ago and I’m completely paranoid about intestinal worms and still see them in my sleep…especially Ascaris!
I worm my birds probably too often. Four months ago I bought in two pairs of ASRs from a highly reputable and successful exhibitor. I felt so lucky to have acquired them from this breeder and confident in their husbandry that I skipped their quarantine all round meds! Today scraping the birds out I discovered these worms in a single faecal lump. A lesson to learn here. I assume, by their size, they are Ascaris spp.
Adam, I’ll check your video but would be grateful for any comment from you and/or the community. Scale is cm. Thanks.
