Is flecking affected by the pattern?

With an ash red cock carrying the blue base color:
Is the blue flecking the same on all patterns? (1) Barless, (2) Bar, (3) Check (4) Dark Check?
I would guess that the flecking is less with the Barless and increases with Bar pattern, then more with Check pattern, then the most with Dark Check.
Is my guess correct?

I don't have enough data to answer, but I've bred some bar pattern spreads in the past who were very heavily flecked, and they do get darker with age.
