I'm starting to breed almonds and I've heard these two terms come up but don't really understand the difference / genetics. I believe the Deroy is a recessive red pigeon with the ST gene but not exactly sure what an agate is or how to tell the difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Deroy is a homozygous recessive red pigeon with the ST gene. Agate is a homozygous recessive red pigeon that does not have the St gene. I would really like to know what gene is responsible for Agate's white feathers?
