Heterozygous indigo blue bar hen looks superficially like a sun/silver but I’m assuming the very pale tail bar is the main give away… plus the fact she came from an indigo breeder! ;))

Another new colour for me and only acquired this ASR hen because I’m over run by cock birds and need to up breeding opportunities. All I’m told is she is an opal. I’ve read about this gene and seen so many YouTube clips. The range in phenotypes is extensive which doesn’t help me at all not being fam...

New acquisition to my ASR shed homozygous indigo spread cock.
New colour project and first time I’ve ever handled a bird with this phenotype. My aim is to breed Andalusians. I understand the spread gene is needed but does it matter if the (blue) hen is T checker, checker or bar?
